Menu Selections


The Mountain Room offers many different menu selections designed to accommodate any budget.  Each contains a wide selection of cold and hot hor d'oeuvres and entrees.  Below is a sampling of some of the choices that we offer.

Casual Menus

Menu Number One

  • Assorted cold-cut platter
  • Fresh cut fruits with vanilla cream dip
  • Fresh cut vegetables with ranch dip
  • Caesar salad
  • Assorted deli salads
  • Ziti with meat sauce
  • Breads and rolls
  • Assorted brownies and cookies
  • Coffee and tea (self serve)

Menu Number Two

  • Served garden salad
  • Breads and rolls on table
  • Family style Ziti with meat sauce
  • Choice of chicken - cordon bleu, parmesan, florentine or
    bread stuffing (½ breast with vegetable and potato
  • Served ice cream dessert with coffee and tea

Menu Number Three

  • Hot and cold hors d'oeuvres will include:
    fresh cut fruits, vegetables and cheeses
  • Handmade fancy hor d'oeuvres including but not limited to:
    stuffed mushrooms, scallops and bacon, quiches, chilled
    shrimp cocktail, Swedish meatballs
  • Stuffed shells in sauce
  • Full service meal enhanced with fresh flowers and ice sculpture
  • Dessert - Refreshing mint chocolate chip ice cream garnished
    with an after dinner mint

 



Mountain Buffet

Served at Your Table are:

  • Fresh fruit cup - Delicately garnished with walnuts and a delightfully,
    refreshing scoop of sherbet.
  • Tossed, crisp salad - with an array of tasteful garden delights and
    our special house dressing.
  • Freshly cooked Ziti and meatballs
  • Homemade French dinner rolls

Choice of Entrees on the Buffet:

  • Marinated Baked Chicken and Oven Roasted Potatoes with parsley
    and butter
  • Roast beef au jus, sliced and rolled to perfection
  • Sautéed sausage with sweet roasted peppers
  • Breast of turkey with stuffing
  • Baked scrod with cheese and broccoli
  • Baked, glazed ham in cherry pineapple sauce
  • Green beans almandine

    Cake, ice cream and freshly brewed coffee will be served to your guests
    at the conclusion of this bountiful meal!

Price of buffet also includes:

  • Five hours of open bar
  • Champagne toast for all guest
  • Carafe of wine on each table
  • Victorian lanterns on each table

 


Mountain Room Dinner Menu

  • Boneless prime rib of beef
  • Baked stuffed jumbo shrimp with drawn butter
  • Baked scrod with cheese and broccoli seasoned with cracker
    crumbs, lemon and butter
  • Chicken cordon bleu
  • Baked stuffed chicken breasts
  • Chicken florentine
  • Fresh roasted breast of turkey with our own special stuffing
    and gravy

All entrees include:

  • Fresh fruit cup delicately garnished with walnuts and a delightfully
    refreshing scoop of sherbet
  • Tossed, crisp salad with an array of tasteful garden delights and our
    special house dressing
  • Freshly cooked Ziti and meatballs

    All meals served with our own fresh cut sautéed Polynesian style
    vegetables, oven roasted red bliss potato with parsley and butter.

  • A champagne toast for all guests
  • Carafe of wine on each table
  • Lanterns on all tables

    Cake, ice cream and freshly brewed coffee will be served to your guests

Top of the Mountain Cuisine

Your five and a half hour reception starts with our most elegant hor d'oeuvres
including an endless bounty of fresh shrimp, jumbo stuffed mushrooms, mini
chicken cordon bleu, florentine, and stuffed shells.

All this in addition to our regular hot and cold hor d'oeuvres. You and your
wedding party will be wined and dined as well, in a separate area with off of the same, as you get ready for your grand entrance.

Your meal:

  • Fresh fruit cup delicately garnished with walnuts and topped with
    a swirl of strawberry whip cream.
  • Tossed, crisp salad with an array of tasteful garden delights and our
    special house dressing.
  • Sorbed, refreshing and complemented with a mint leaf to
    cleanse the palate.
  • Surf and Turf, a generous portion of filet mignon with sautéed fresh
    mushrooms, two jumbo shrimp baked and stuffed, fresh cut, sautéed
    Polynesian style vegetables, and oven roasted red bliss potatoes
    with parsley and butter.

    This bountiful meal will be concluded with gourmet flavored coffee
    (decaf and tea available upon request). For dessert, our special
    homemade, smooth mint ice cream, enhanced with a selection of our
    mini Italian pastries.
